Her research scope ranges from specific buildings and urban development that consist of a theoretical-historic background with an emphasis on conceptual thought and utopian architecture. As board member of Docomomo, she is involved with evaluating modern heritage. Also Amanda has a strong interest writing reviews and articles about architecture, and is currently engaged in researching assigned monuments for municipalities.

Anthony Banks

Anthony is a creative writer and director who specialises in conceiving and crafting digitally-led advertising. He has created viral films, animations, interactive websites, virtual reality installations, mobile games, social media activations, digital billboards and blogger partnerships for brands such as Nissan, Evian, Nike, Levi's and Danone. Previously based in London and Paris, he is now freelance, based in Rotterdam and ready to accept creative commissions from both inside and outside the world of advertising.

Nick Dickinson works on the monitoring of infrastructure and utility services in complex settings, often water and sanitation in Africa, and helps public, private and non-profit organizations to integrate monitoring into their regular work. He brings his experience working with diverse stakeholders and working on information technology projects to help procure or co-create sustainable solutions.

Kuno Bakker is managing director of Stichting DOENK and owner of Buro Fris. Teamed up with Nora Prins & Maaike Schets he gets his hands dirty on promoting Science & Technology within the region of Rotterdam Rijnmond (DOENK), and creating self-initiated or commissioned events like Wolkenkrabber Weekend 2007, Free Gaming 2009, Lezersfeest until 2010 and the opening of the International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam 2007 at the Central Station building site (Buro Fris).

Marten Witkamp works on market transformations towards greater sustainability. He has been in this line of work since graduation in 2008, focusing mostly on the housing and energy markets, always from a drive to innovate. As a ‘Transition Practitioner’, he has taken on various roles over the course of these years, including group facilitator, researcher, initiator, and content communicator. Most recently, he has been involved with De Stroomversnelling, a nationwide collaboration between construction companies and housing corporations to renovate 111.000 homes to zero energy, using the additional cashflow of the renters’ current energy bill and radical innovation by the construction companies. On a regular basis, he works for Energiesprong and Platform31. Other partnerships are Rathenau Instituut, Regieraad Bouw, Broodfonds and of course the other companies in the Rotterdam Collective.

Apart from that, he loves to make beautiful things and as such he is your go-to designer. Be it a product, a service or something else, Piet will make it refreshing, surprising and holistic. Simple in form, function and language. Be sure to call him if you’ve discovered a new method of coffee brewing or have an urge to go on an epic cycling trip.

Kristin Metho is a graphic designer with a focus on printed matter, visual identities and websites, mainly for cultural institutions. Since 2010, she works independently on own commissions and freelances for various artists and design studios in an international context.
