Maria Meizoso
Maria is an architect who has lived in several cities across Europe. She moved to Rotterdam in 2020 after spending ten exciting years in London.
She has specialised in façade design and brings over 20 years of experience working with international design-and-build companies. Recently, she founded her independent design consultancy, Envelope Works, where she focuses on the building envelope as a place where design, craft, and sustainability meet. She enjoys working at the intersection of thinking, making, and installing, while remaining curious about how other project members approach façade design and engineering.
Alongside her practice, she teaches at TU Delft (Architecture / Building Technology) as a teacher in practice. She values this role as a way to share knowledge and inspire future generations of architects.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find her at a gig, enjoying good food, travelling, spending time in nature, or meeting friends and family.
